Winter Workshop Series 2022

 

Kittiwake is pleased to continue our workshops series through the winter and spring of 2022! For 12 weeks beginning January 23, we are offering four one-hour classes, weekly. All classes take place at the Arts and Culture Dancespace.

Classical Ballet Repertoire

with Artistic Director, Martin Vallée

Participants must have a minimum of four years of ballet training.

For ages 14+

Saturdays 3:30 pm

 

Classical and Contemporary Partnering – new to our workshop series!

with Artistic Director, Martin Vallée

Participants must have a minimum of four years of ballet training and female participants must have three years of pointe training.

For ages 14+

Saturdays 4:30 pm

 

World Cultural Dances and Character Dance – new to our workshop series!

Explore dances from around the world including Ukrainian folk dance, Highland dance and more.

For ages 14+

Sundays 12:30

 

Contemporary Repertoire

with RBC-Kittiwake Emerging Choreographer in Residence, Hannah Drover.

This workshop teaches Kittiwake’s contemporary repertoire including New Day, tanha: The Spectrum of Desire and excerpts from Peter Pan in the Park: The Prequel.

For ages 14+

Sundays 1:30

 

Fees and Payment:

$300 for each series, registration is due January 9, 2022 and payable by e-transfer to info@kittiwakedancetheatre.ca. Please include Dancer’s Full Name in the e-transfer notes and for the password use the first three letters of the dancer’s surname followed by ‘2022’.
