One of the longest-running productions in Newfoundland and Labrador, The Nutcracker, returns to stages this December. This timeless yuletide story set to Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece has become a holiday tradition for many. Kittiwake is celebrating its 37^th annual production with performances in Gander, Grands Falls-Windsor, Corner Brook – including a matinée – and St. John’s. Our company of professional dancers and apprentices as well as special guest artists Beni Malone, Nick Jones and Julia Bergua, will be joined on stage by almost 200 young dancers from these communities around the island to bring Martin Vallée’s choreography to life.

Two performances in St. John’s feature music with the orchestra of Kittiwake Dance Theatre, under the baton of Vernon Regehr.
